Welcome to GhostPulse. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the GhostPulse IndexNow service, available at https://ghostpulse.it/indexnow/ and related GhostPulse dashboard pages.

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, connecting a Ghost site, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

In these Terms, “GhostPulse”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the service. “You” and “your” refer to the user, customer, website owner, publisher, agency, or organization using GhostPulse.

2. What GhostPulse IndexNow does

GhostPulse IndexNow is a tool for Ghost CMS websites.

The service allows you to connect one or more Ghost websites and automatically submit published or updated URLs to search engines that support the IndexNow protocol.

The typical flow is:

  1. You create or sign in to your GhostPulse account.
  2. You connect your Ghost site.
  3. You configure and verify your IndexNow key.
  4. Your Ghost site sends a webhook to GhostPulse when content is published or updated.
  5. GhostPulse submits the relevant URL to IndexNow-compatible search engines.

GhostPulse helps notify search engines about content changes. It does not guarantee crawling, indexing, ranking, traffic, search visibility, or SEO performance.

3. Eligibility

You may use GhostPulse only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
  • You have the right to administer the Ghost site you connect.
  • You have permission to configure webhooks, API keys, IndexNow keys, DNS records, files, or other technical settings required by the service.
  • Your use of the service complies with applicable laws.

If you use GhostPulse on behalf of a company, agency, publication, client, or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. Accounts and authentication

GhostPulse may use Ghost Members or other authentication systems to manage user accounts, subscriptions, and access.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account credentials secure.
  • Ensuring that your email address is accurate.
  • Preventing unauthorized access to your account.
  • Notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe that your account has been used fraudulently, unlawfully, abusively, or in a way that may harm the service.

5. Plans, subscriptions, and limits

GhostPulse IndexNow may offer different paid plans, including plans based on the number of connected Ghost sites or blogs.

Current plans may include, for example:

  • GhostPulse Basic: for one blog.
  • GhostPulse Gold: for multiple blogs.
  • GhostPulse Agency: for a larger number of blogs.

The exact plan limits, prices, billing periods, and trial periods are displayed on the GhostPulse website or checkout page at the time of subscription.

We may update plan features, prices, or limits from time to time. Changes will not affect the current paid billing period unless required by law or unless you explicitly accept the change.

6. Free trials

Some plans may include a free trial.

At the end of the trial period, your subscription may automatically convert into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

The applicable trial length, billing date, and cancellation options are shown during checkout or in the billing portal.

7. Payments and billing

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe or other billing platforms.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize the payment provider to charge the selected payment method according to the chosen plan.

You are responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, duties, or similar charges, unless otherwise stated.

GhostPulse does not store full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by the payment provider according to its own terms and privacy policy.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription through the available account, portal, or billing interface.

Cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current billing period, unless otherwise stated.

After cancellation:

  • You may continue to access paid features until the end of the paid period.
  • Webhook processing and IndexNow submissions may stop when the subscription expires.
  • We may retain account and technical records as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Refunds

Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable.

We may, at our discretion, issue refunds in exceptional cases, such as duplicate payments, billing errors, or technical failures that make the paid service unavailable for a significant period.

No refund is owed where the service is working but search engines do not crawl, index, rank, or display your content.

10. Connected Ghost sites

To use GhostPulse, you may need to provide configuration data for your Ghost site, such as:

  • Site URL.
  • Admin API configuration or webhook configuration.
  • Webhook endpoint data.
  • IndexNow key or key location.
  • Technical metadata required to verify and process your site.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and that your Ghost site is configured correctly.

GhostPulse is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect Ghost configuration, disabled webhooks, invalid URLs, invalid IndexNow keys, inaccessible key files, DNS errors, hosting problems, theme errors, or third-party service outages.

11. IndexNow key verification

IndexNow requires site ownership verification through a key.

You are responsible for generating, placing, and maintaining your IndexNow key according to the IndexNow protocol requirements.

GhostPulse may verify the presence and accessibility of the key file before processing submissions.

If verification fails, GhostPulse may reject or pause submissions for the affected site.

12. Webhooks and URL submissions

GhostPulse receives webhook events from your Ghost site and uses them to identify URLs that should be submitted to IndexNow.

You agree not to abuse the webhook endpoint or submit excessive, fraudulent, misleading, malicious, or unrelated URLs.

We may apply technical limits, throttling, deduplication, queueing, filtering, or anti-abuse measures to protect the service and third-party APIs.

We may refuse to submit URLs that appear to be invalid, unsafe, unrelated to your verified site, abusive, or technically malformed.

13. No guarantee of indexing or SEO results

GhostPulse submits URLs to IndexNow-compatible endpoints, where supported.

However, search engines remain fully independent. They may decide whether, when, and how to crawl, index, rank, update, or ignore any submitted URL.

GhostPulse does not guarantee:

  • Faster indexing.
  • Inclusion in search results.
  • Search ranking improvements.
  • Organic traffic.
  • Removal of old content from search results.
  • Any specific SEO outcome.

GhostPulse is a notification and automation tool, not an SEO guarantee machine with a tiny wizard trapped inside it.

14. Acceptable use

You agree not to use GhostPulse to:

  • Submit spam, malware, phishing pages, deceptive content, or illegal material.
  • Submit URLs from sites you do not own or control.
  • Circumvent plan limits.
  • Attack, overload, probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
  • Interfere with other users.
  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
  • Violate the terms of Ghost, IndexNow, search engines, hosting providers, payment processors, or other third-party services.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

15. Third-party services

GhostPulse depends on third-party services, which may include:

  • Ghost CMS.
  • Ghost Members or Ghost Portal.
  • Stripe or other payment providers.
  • Hosting providers.
  • Email providers.
  • IndexNow-compatible search engines.
  • Analytics, logging, monitoring, or infrastructure tools.

We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, API changes, pricing changes, data processing, availability, or decisions.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

16. Service availability

We aim to keep GhostPulse reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Maintenance.
  • Software updates.
  • Infrastructure issues.
  • Third-party outages.
  • Security incidents.
  • API changes.
  • Network failures.
  • Events beyond our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service where reasonably necessary.

17. Data and logs

GhostPulse may process technical data and logs needed to operate the service, such as webhook events, submitted URLs, timestamps, status codes, site configuration data, account information, and billing status.

18. Intellectual property

GhostPulse, including its name, software, interface, design, documentation, text, logos, and service structure, is owned by us or our licensors.

You retain ownership of your own website content.

Using GhostPulse does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

You grant us a limited right to process the URLs, metadata, and technical information necessary to provide the service.

19. Feedback

If you send us suggestions, ideas, feature requests, bug reports, or other feedback, you allow us to use that feedback to improve GhostPulse without owing compensation, royalties, or attribution.

20. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to GhostPulse if:

  • You breach these Terms.
  • Payment fails.
  • Your use creates security, legal, operational, or reputational risk.
  • You abuse the service or third-party APIs.
  • We are required to do so by law.
  • Continued service becomes technically or commercially impractical.

You may stop using GhostPulse at any time and may cancel your subscription through the billing interface.

21. Disclaimer of warranties

GhostPulse is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and any implied warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

22. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GhostPulse and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of traffic, loss of rankings, loss of data, loss of business, or reputational damage.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to GhostPulse during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

23. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GhostPulse and its operator from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the service.
  • Your connected websites.
  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Your violation of laws or third-party rights.
  • Your submission of URLs or content through the service.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as posting a notice on the website or sending an email.

The updated Terms will apply from the stated effective date. Continued use of GhostPulse after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

25. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

Any disputes will be subject to the courts of Italy, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
